1. Agreement

By accessing or using the Kryohm website, IoT platform, or prepaid metering platform ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our Services.

2. Services

Kryohm (Pty) Ltd provides:

  • IoT hardware products (smart meters, sensors, monitoring devices)
  • An IoT monitoring and device management platform
  • A prepaid metering platform for credit purchases and token generation
  • Custom hardware and software development services

3. User Accounts

Access to our platforms requires a user account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Prepaid Credit Purchases

  • Credits are purchased in South African Rand (ZAR) via our integrated payment provider, Paystack.
  • STS tokens are generated upon successful payment and delivered via the platform and email.
  • Pricing is determined by the applicable rate for your meter type and site. Rates may vary.
  • All purchases are final. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Tamper with, bypass, or interfere with any metering device
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our platforms or systems
  • Use our Services for any unlawful purpose
  • Resell or redistribute tokens or credits without authorisation
  • Reverse engineer any of our hardware, firmware, or software

6. Intellectual Property

All hardware designs, firmware, software, platform interfaces, and content on this website are the intellectual property of Kryohm (Pty) Ltd. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of our products or Services without written permission.

7. Hardware Warranty

Kryohm hardware products come with a limited warranty as specified at the time of purchase. Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, tampering, incorrect installation, or environmental factors beyond the product's rated specifications.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Kryohm shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our Services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

9. Service Availability

We aim for 99.9% platform uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable notice. We are not liable for service interruptions caused by factors beyond our control.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to our Services if you breach these terms or engage in activity that may harm our systems or other users. You may close your account by contacting us.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
